  • What is a GamePlan?
A GamePlan is a free and easy way to share a coaches or organization’s wish list of equipment needed for their organizations ability to play youth sports.
  • Who can create a GamePlan?
Any qualified organization or person representing a qualified organization can create a GamePlan! To be qualified all we ask is to show proof of the 501(c)(3) for the organization you are representing.
  • How long will it take for the GamePlan to be fulfilled?
Well that depends. Sports Gear Reload tries to scour the nation for donors to review the GamePlans and try to donate to them. It might take some time depending on the amount needed. We’ll keep the amount needed and donated to up to date so you can keep track of your GamePlan. But you can help! Tell your friends, co-workers and businesses to check out your GamePlan and see if they can donate.
  • What happens if my GamePlan is not fulfilled?
We’ll reach out to you, if after some time, your GamePlan is not completely fulfilled. We will work on getting as much as possible from your GamePlan, given the amount that was donated.
  • Does it cost any money for non-profit organizations to create a GamePlan?
    Absolutely not!
  • What should I ask for?
Ask for the equipment you need to play the game! Any game! Baseball, basketball, tennis, archery, field hockey… as long as your organization qualifies, we will work our hardest to get your GamePlan fulfilled. GamePlan tips: smaller GamePlans tend to be filled faster. Make sure to include in your GamePlan how the equipment will make an impact for you. Do not assume that all donors play your sport. Try to avoid things like “Pony A” in regards to baseball as they may not understand how divisions work in your community.
  • What is required of the organization creating the GamePlan?
Please have a copy of the 501(c)(3) form handy when you fill out your GamePlan. Please be prepared with the specific product details needed for your GamePlan. We also ask you to upload a picture. This can be your logo but this is also an opportunity to let your team/organization shine! Consider uploading a picture of kids playing the game you are referring to in your GamePlan (please make sure that if the picture does include children under the age of 18 that you have the parents permission to share and post). Additionally, you will be asked to upload a copy of your organization’s 501(c)(3) form. We’ll verify it to ensure your organization qualifies and then we can start fulfilling your GamePlan. Please refer to our terms and conditions.
  • Why do I need a 501(c)(3)?
We need it to ensure you are representing an actual non-profit youth sports organization. In accordance with our mission we are focused on providing assistance to U.S. non-for-profit sports organizations.
  • How do you keep the site running?
We are a non-profit business too! But as a business we do have costs that are generated day to day. We do take a very small processing fee from the donations that come in to help offset those costs (i.e. shipping costs and PayPal processing fees).
  • Do you accept “in-kind” donations?
Unfortunately, we are currently not set up to receive in-kind donations.
